About the Trainee Program

At Statkraft, we're committed to leading the energy transition towards a more sustainable future. Our trainee program is a unique entry point into the world of renewables, offering recent graduates the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with industry experts, and develop their skills in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to developing Statkraft's ownership strategy, including corporate governance and financing strategies for our business units and assets
  • Help the team develop and prepare individual business cases (investments and M&A) in the different business units
  • Participate in developing and analyzing the portfolio, including forecasts, valuation, and pathway to set strategic targets
  • Support strategy projects and investment decision projects (market analysis, company/technology analysis, etc)
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, economy, engineering, or science
  • No more than one year of work experience post-education (excluding internships/part-time jobs)
  • Strong ability to collaborate with others and work as a team player
  • Curious and open-minded towards different tasks and work environments
  • Open to relocate during the trainee program for a period of 6 months
  • Fluency in English is required (other European languages are an asset)
