About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Instrument Engineer to join our team at Head Energy. As a senior instrumentation specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality conceptual studies to our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing technical philosophy documents, sketches, drawings, and indexes for studies
  • Collaborating with other disciplines, clients, and vendors to ensure all aspects are covered
  • Preparing material lists (MTO) with dimensions, weight, and cost
  • Contributing to risk and opportunity registers
  • Preparing inputs to main equipment lists (MEL) with dimensions, weight, and cost
  • Supporting report preparation

Requirements include:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in relevant education
  • Minimum 5 years of experience from the oil and gas industry in the Norwegian sector
  • Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience with estimation work and planning activities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Navisworks, and Visio software
  • Proficient written English is mandatory
