Project Overview

The Research Engineer for Hydrogen Safety will play a key role in advancing our understanding of hydrogen safety and developing innovative solutions to mitigate risks associated with LH2 tanks. You will work closely with our research team to design, conduct, and analyze experiments, as well as develop and evaluate new methods and tools for risk assessment.

In this project, you will:

  • Investigate the effects of temperature and pressure on LH2 tank behavior
  • Develop and validate computational models for simulating LH2 tank dynamics
  • Test and evaluate novel materials and designs for LH2 tanks
  • Collaborate with industry partners to integrate safety and performance metrics
