Software Engineer Hybrid Propulsion Systems

We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Ship Electrification Solutions team in Hamburg, Germany, or Stord, Norway. As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to the development of environmental technologies that make the shipping industry more sustainable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software solutions for hybrid propulsion systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate converter systems and electrical power management systems
- Design and implement control systems and controllers for electrical machines and frequency converters
- Work on simulations, system engineering, and programming of PLCs
Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Systems, Control Systems, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the marine industry
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems and control systems
