Sales Engineer Hybrid Electric Propulsion Systems

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in Stord, Norway or Hamburg, Germany. As a key member of our Ship Electrification Solutions team, you will be responsible for configuring solutions for hybrid and electric propulsion systems, working closely with our global front-line sales force and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Define and tailor technical content and scope of solutions based on customer discussions and sales force input
- Engage in technical discussions with shipyards, ship owners, and design companies
- Create technical bids, including documentation for solution proposals based on customer requirements
- Provide technical expertise in the sales phase and support sales teams
- Prepare technical solutions and cost calculations for components, sub-assemblies, installation, and commissioning activities
- Coordinate order transfer from sales and sales engineering to project execution teams
- Masters or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Ships Operational Technology, or equivalent
- Professional experience in power generation plants, control, and converter technology
- Structured and practical work approach with a hands-on attitude
- Passion for exploring technical and commercial solutions to provide value to customers
- English language proficiency (written and spoken)
