About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Data & Analytics department, you will be responsible for exploring large datasets, evaluating data quality, and modeling data.
You will apply statistical methods to understand consumer behavioral patterns relevant for product development and operational efficiency.
Your tasks will include analyzing problems to understand their root cause, working with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to build and implement analytical solutions, and collaborating on data-related projects.
You will visualize data and turn it into stories, derive actionable insights, provide decision support, and make recommendations based on data-driven insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis roles within Data & Analytics solutions.
- Master/MBA degree in a numerate subject (e.g. Data Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Economics, Natural Science, or Engineering).
- Proficient in a programming language such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience in cluster analysis and machine learning.
- Understanding of how to perform data extraction and manipulation.
- Advanced in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify issues, structure and conduct necessary analysis, and draw well-informed conclusions.
- Consulting skills, especially strong ability to provide insights and recommendations.
- Extraordinary communication skills to effectively convey complex information and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, be detail-oriented, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points
- Experience within the payments, risk, debt collection, or factoring space.
- Experience with modern data stacks, preferably Databricks.
