Role / Job Summary:

Photosynthetic AS develops advanced lighting systems for controlled environment agriculture, combining high-efficiency LED fixtures with intelligent, AI-driven control software that dynamically optimizes light for plant growth and energy efficiency.

Photosynthetic is a spin-out from Kelvin Group AS (formerly Rift Labs), backed by experienced owners and a strong technology foundation. The company has been led by the founding team through its build-up and market validation, and we are now recruiting a commercially focused CEO to lead the next phase of growth and international expansion.

This is a rare opportunity to take charge of a company with proven technology, traction in the indoor farming (greenhouse, vertical farming, etc.) segment, and strong financial backing, yet with full freedom to shape its commercial direction and global strategy.

This is a unique leadership role: a chance to take a solid foundation of established products, paying customers, strong owners, and turning it into a global commercial success story.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the company's commercial strategy, with focus on both domestic and international sales growth and market development.
  • Build and manage partnerships with greenhouse and vertical farming operators, system integrators, and distributors across Scandinavia, Europe and Asia.
  • Strengthen go-to-market execution, pricing models, and customer success processes.
  • Align product roadmap and R&D priorities with market needs.

Represent the company externally with customers, partners, and investors.

Required qualifications and skills:

Technical/ Professional:

o  Strong experience in sales, business development, or P&L management.

o  Proven track record in commercial leadership, ideally within lighting, agri-tech, greenhouse or industrial technology.

o  Structured, results-oriented, and motivated by scaling technology-driven businesses.

o  Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.

o  Experience leading small, agile team with a hands-on approach.

o  Willingness and ability to travel.

Language:

o  ‌Professional level English‌‌, written & spoken.

o  Scandinavian is advantageous.
