Uncrewed Platforms division
, is a provider of autonomous maritime robotics. We develop and produce complete autonomous surface and underwater vehicles, integrated with a wide range of sensors and associated control systems. Equipped with advanced control systems and sensors, our vehicles can operate alone for several days at a time, collecting information about the seabed and underwater infrastructure. Our products, HUGIN and HUGIN Superior, are recognised among the most capable AUVs available on the market today, and our customers operate in defence, commercial and research sectors.

The Engineering department in Uncrewed Platforms is in a strong growth period due to increased demand for our products.
We are seeking
skilled engineers in electronics to meet delivery needs. Work takes place in small and large interdisciplinary teams, where you will work side by side with other disciplines such as mechanics, software, and production. You will have the opportunity to work with new and existing world-leading products within underwater robotics and sensor technology. As a project engineer with us, you will hold a key role in the delivering world class products to our customers.

Typical Work Tasks

• Schematic drawing of the system's electronics using ECAD tools.
• Adaptation of material lists and schematics according to specification requirements.
• Close collaboration with project managers, mechanics, and documentation managers.
• Solving technical issues and working with the electronics in our systems.
• Technical support for production, delivery, and aftermarket.

Desired Qualifications And Attributes

• Technical college or vocational certificate in electrical, electronic or automation. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education.
• BSc or relevant experience is required for Senior Project Engineer.
• Experience working with schematic design. Experience with ECAD tools is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in a structured and systematic manner.
• Collaborates well, shares knowledge, experience and information with others.
• Takes initiative, shows commitment and can make decisions.
• You are, or wish to develop into, a resource person through your passion for the field.
