What impact will you have in this role?

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and enthusiastic consultant who will nurture needs and deliver Microsoft Business Applications solutions for existing and prospective clients. Working with the Business Analysis practice and client teams to design, build, oversee, and implement solutions using the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 customer engagement first-party applications.

What will the Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Architect be doing day-to-day?

Delighting our clients with exceptional customer service.

Planning and co-ordination of D365 installations with clients.

Sizing both pre-production and production environments in line with the clients current and predicted transaction volumes, user loads and integration throughput.

Performing installation of Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 for Operations components.

Performing installation of the following Microsoft core components:

• SQL
• SSRS
• SSAS
• SharePoint

Production of technical documentation.

Provide technical training to both internal and external clients on both the Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 for Operations application in the following areas:

• Security Configuration
• Workflow Configuration
• Architecture
• Data Import Export Framework

Go-live and post-live support.

Own and manage complex technical issues and change requests through to resolution.

Demonstrating and describing to clients the architecture of Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 for Operations applications, and how the ancillary components interact.

Performing Code QA and development packaging.

Assisting Project Managers with planning technical aspects of a client delivery.

Delivering Integration Workshops with clients and leading the integration stream on projects.

Creation, deployment and management of Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) projects.

Pre-sales assistance.

What type of experience does the Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Architect need to be successful in this role?

18+ years of deep solution knowledge from working with D 365 F&O/ AX.

Track record of successful implementations of Microsoft Dynamics AX with multiple end-to- end implementations using latest versions of AX – D365 / AX 2012.

Must have hands on experience in Inventory and Warehouse operations.

Must have worked on customizations related to Inventory, Supply chain and Warehouse modules or/and Finance& Banking Modules or/and Retail domain.

Must have worked on integrating 3rd party ISVs.

Good to Have - Worked on Advanced Warehouse management module in D365 F&O.

Good to have - configure Warehouse mobile devices and other Advanced Warehouse management setups.

Certification in D365 F&O Supply chain and/or Finance and/or retail is a must.

Must have knowledge in Implementation of Sure Step and Agile methodologies.

Must have strong client facing experience.

Ability in working with Offshore-Onsite model delivery model.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Good exposure in presales, deal shaping etc.

Experience leading a team, project planning, estimations.

Have the ability to leverage domain experience in AX/ D365 F&O implementations.

Testing life cycle phases with an ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

Strong presentation skills

Intellectual curiosity, especially around emerging enterprise technologies

Knowledge of complimentary Microsoft technologies; Azure Cloud Platform, Power Bi, PowerApps, Flow

Ability to architect a solution and tie it back with the key business needs.

What education and certification credentials are needed for this role?

Educated to degree level or equivalent

Preferably MBA or equivalent

Certified on D365 F&O and AX2012 – MB-500.

Does the role require travel?

We encourage our team members to meet with our customers in person for at least 20% of the time they are working together. Sometimes this requires travel outside of normal working hours.
