Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Telecom Engineer. This role is responsible for the completion and commissioning of Telecom systems for the PWP topside, ensuring full compliance with customers project and operational standards. The position will begin onshore at Rosenberg and Stord Yards and later transition offshore.

Key Responsibilities

Execute commissioning activities related to Telecom systems, as assigned by the Commissioning System Telecom Lead.

Verify construction field installations align with design drawings and specifications.

Interpret and apply technical drawings, functional specifications, and procedures.

Participate in system check-out and verification (Walkdowns/Yellow Line) in accordance with RFCC Handover Process.

Plan and facilitate static and dynamic commissioning activities.

Coordinate with operations, maintenance, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient communication and execution.

Report daily to the Commissioning Telecom Lead on ongoing activities and progress.

Collect and prepare documentation for RFOC Handover as per project requirements.

Contribute Telecom-related input to the overall completion strategy and planning.

Manage ATS and other resources supplying materials and equipment for Telecom commissioning.

Support the development and review of Telecom commissioning procedures and provide guidance to the Telecom Commissioning Team.

Participate in discipline walkdowns and ensure project-support tool (PIMS) is established and followed up.

Position Purpose

Ensure completion and commissioning requirements of all PWP Telecom systems meet customers standards for quality, verification, and assurance.

Implement the commissioning certification and handover process according to the Project Completion Strategy.

Safely and efficiently hand over relevant systems to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in Telecom commissioning within oil & gas projects.

Familiarity with Project Completion Systems (PIMS) and document management tools.

Documented Ex competence with valid classroom courses.

Valid FSE course certification.

Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently in both onshore and offshore environments.
