Aker Carbon Capture is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.

What will you be doing?

As multi-disciplinary Mechanical Completion Lead, you will spearhead and coordinate the MC activities of the suppliers and subcontractors.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Part of the construction team in Ørsted Project for ASV and AVV
  • Experience in installation/hook-up inspection
  • Work in both Norway and Denmark
  • Working hours 37,5 a week in the beginning and potentially rotation at a later stage
  • MC scoping in PIMS CMS
  • MC follow-up at supplier sites
  • MC follow-up at construction sites
  • Assist in the implementation of PIMS CMS with subcontractors
  • Assist and perform MC punch-outs
  • Prepare and perform Handover from MC to Commissioning
  • Contribute to Construction activities and processes as required


Your qualifications

  • BSc degree/Technical diploma and relevant work experience, or other education with extensive relevant practical experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and/or mechanical completion
  • Extensive knowledge of PIMS CMS
  • Good leadership skills
  • Multidiscipline understanding of construction works
  • Fluent English language, written and spoken
  • Hold a valid working visa for Norway 
  • Personal competencies

  • Availability for travels as needed.

Work-location: Fornebu, Oslo for an initial period of 6-7 months and then relocation to Denmark is required

Start date: August/September 2024

Contract duration: 1 year with option of extension
