Job Description

IFS is seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our Nordic Sales team. This critical role will be instrumental in driving IFS' success in the Nordic market. As the IFS Nordic Sales management representative based in Norway, you will proactively work to ensure strategic targets are met, leveraging your network and market relationships to coach and steer your high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent IFS in driving strategic initiatives and achieving targets.
  • Manage sales processes across various industries, taking on a senior management role.
  • Coach, manage, and develop sales teams to maximize their potential and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success organization to enhance business potential.
  • Drive sales excellence through account and customer relationship management, software license and cloud subscription revenue generation, and demand generation.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in ERP software solutions.
  • Extensive history in account and customer relationship management, with a focus on sales and software license/cloud subscription revenue.
  • Demonstrated success in demand generation, pipeline, and opportunity management.
  • Proven history of sales excellence and people management.
  • Proven ability to direct virtual account teams and manage high-performing, target-focused sales teams.
  • Proven History in selling complex business software/IT solutions or management consulting with a value-selling mentality.
  • Significant history in hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
  • Knowledge in leading complex sales at C-level with a collaborative and impactful approach.
  • Familiarity with long sales cycles and large transactions in a fast moving market.
  • Industry appreciation in one of our core sectors: Aerospace & Defense, Energy, Utilities & Resources, Engineering, Construction & Infrastructure, Manufacturing, or Service.
  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills.
  • Fluency in business-level English and Norwegian language - verbal and written
  • Highly Educated or equivalent professional qualifications in a relevant field

  • Skills in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across the business.
  • Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to managing timelines and expectations.
  • Proven History in selling multi-year strategic services contracts
