Hydro Aluminium Metal a leading supplier of extrusion ingots, sheet ingots, foundry alloys, wire rods and high-purity aluminum with a global production network of around 5,000 employees. With primary metal production facilities in Europe, Canada, Australia, Brazil and Qatar, and recycling facilities throughout Europe and in the U.S., two-thirds of our primary aluminum production is based on renewable energy.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Product delivery: Take charge of the entire product lifecycle, ensuring delivery from start to finish, in line with customer requirements.
  • Team leadership: Lead and organize a team of both internal and external resources, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Product development: Oversee product development, ensuring alignment with best practices in standards, architecture, security, and compliance.
  • Infrastructure management: Manage necessary infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems, to support product delivery.
  • Customer engagement: Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met through regular touchpoints and updates.
  • Funding models: Develop and manage effective funding models for the products.
  • Reporting: Ensure consistent compliance and other reporting requirements.
  • Operationality: Develop and implement an efficient operating and support model for the products.
  • Work-life balance: Promote a supportive work environment where team members can maintain a healthy balance between work and personal life.

Desired competencies

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • Experience in product management and delivery, and leading teams.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • An understanding of business and production processes within the aluminum industry.
  • An interest in innovation, leadership, and making a difference.
