Job Description

Our trainee programme is a unique entry point into the world of renewables. During your time as a trainee, you will work on some of the toughest challenges within the energy sector, collaborate with some of the smartest minds in the industry, be offered world-class development and learning opportunities and be part of an exclusive network of ambitious young talents from across the world. You will also get the opportunity to apply for a seat on our CEO-led Future Board initiative – an advisory board made up of trainees and young professionals at Statkraft. As Trainee within our Global People Experiences team, which is part of our Corporate HR function, you will:

  • Offer effective and efficient advice, coaching, guidance, and support to employees and managers
  • Work closely with employees and stakeholders to understand and assess the needs of the business and employees to find new and effective solutions
  • Co-create great people experiences together with our process- and digital teams, through the combination of people, technology and process
  • Collaborate with our HR digital team and stakeholders across Statkraft to find new solutions to business people's challenges

Qualifications

We are looking for recent graduates who are motivated to join us in leading the green energy transition. Below are some qualifications we believe are beneficial as a trainee at Statkraft:

  • Master's degree within relevant areas (human resources, business, leadership, organisational psychology, technology, or similar)
  • No more than one year of work experience post education (excluding internships/part-time jobs)
  • Strong and proven ability to collaborate with others and work as a team player
  • Curious and open minded towards different tasks and work environments
  • Open to relocate during your trainee program for a period of 6 months
  • Fluency in English is required (fluency in other European languages would be an asset)
