A revolution in packaging design and use is required for a more sustainable future, both from a littering and a climate change perspective. Push from environmental targets and pull from consumers and brands drive demand for novel circular systems where resources are reused or recycled in a closed loop.
We will help restaurants, cafés, sports- and cultural events to minimize their use of single-use packaging, by providing attractive alternatives based on reusable packaging.
As a response to a significant market pull, particularly from venues and event organizers who loudly applaud our newest innovations, TOMRA Reuse must strengthen its technical support competence and capacity.
Technical Product ManagerAs TOMRA Reuse is scaling up, we are now seeking a Technical Product Manager who can follow our products and services from idea to roll-out. You will train and support local TOMRA technicians in several markets, as well as communicate with customers.
You will be a part of a small team organized as a corporate startup, which offers a high level of freedom, minimum bureaucracy, and varied work. Belonging to a small team also means the start-up's success heavily depends on your contribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Lifecycle Management:
- Technical ownership for HW and SW solutions.
- Verification of solutions.
- Technical market introduction/launch of new products and solutions.
- Contribute to solution development from idea to launch.
- Documentation and Communication:
- Develop and share technical documentation, facilitate efficient technical communication with local markets.
- Market and Customer:
- Technical market support.
- Technical training of local service technicians.
- Quality Control:
- Quality/performance of delivered solutions.
- Recording and processing change requests.
For this position, we are seeking a practical, curious, and solution-oriented person with great problem-solving skills. We believe you are a communicative team player, who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative start-up environment, where an innovative and motivated mindset is highly appreciated.
We also believe you have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master´s degree in Engineering.
- Experience with troubleshooting technical problems, especially within software, mechanics, and electronics.
- Experience in balancing collaboration with independent decisions.
- A market and customer-focused mindset.
- Structured with good analytical skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience with Hardware and/or Software solutions and products.
Workplace is Asker (Norway), but this position comes with some international travel.
