Our area Brand Experience helps development teams run fast and co-create an engaging and consistent experience for our users in our beloved brands and marketplaces. We are 13 cross-functional teams and around 100 people in the area.
The Design System team empowers product teams to design, build and ship coherent experiences with speed by creating a design system that provides reusable components, guidelines, typography, color palettes, documentation and more. The team is a multidisciplinary group of 11 highly skilled professionals.
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Design System team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on bringing people together and delivering products that spark value for both users and the business.
What you'll do
- Put the team first: Listen, inspire and resolve challenges, focus on collective wins and the team over individual results
- Facilitate collaboration: Bring design, engineering, and stakeholders together to align priorities, share ideas, and work seamlessly toward shared goals.
- Drive impactful products: Lead product discovery and delivery with a user-first mindset, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and team input.
Key responsibilities
- Understand the users and needs: Develop a deep understanding of users' needs to inform product decisions.
- Set vision and strategy: Define the team's vision, strategy, and roadmap in close collaboration with tech and UX peers.
- Drive outcomes: Set goals, define priorities, and make decisions to achieve desired business and user outcomes.
- Balance discovery and delivery: Ensure the team strikes a healthy balance between exploring new opportunities (discovery) and delivering valuable solutions efficiently.
- Leverage data and insights: Use data, metrics, and user insights to drive innovation, learnings, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and communicate: Align and communicate plans, roadmaps, and learnings with other teams and across the organization.
Required Skills and Experience
- Product management experience: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful products.
- Strategic vision and execution: Ability to define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with business goals and user needs.
- Collaboration and communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate goals, priorities, and context clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- User-centric mindset: Strong ability to empathize with users, understand their problems, and leverage insights to inform product decisions.
- Data-driven decision-making: Experience using data, metrics, and user research to prioritize, validate ideas, and measure success.
- Stakeholder management: Experience managing relationships across teams, aligning priorities, and navigating dependencies to ensure smooth delivery.
If you have experience working with a design system that supports multiple brands - it's a great bonus
