We are looking for a Health, Safety and Environment Specialist to Mondelez in Oslo

In this role, you are responsible for implementing and developing health, safety and environmental strategies, driving the business forward, while complying with regulatory and internal requirements and ensuring a safe work environment. You are expected to work independently and contribute innovative solutions to minimize risks and optimize our work processes.

Your personal qualities are highly valued. You are a structured and driven professional with a deep commitment to advancing workplace safety standards.

Your communicative approach and ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally, will be key to your success in this role. Known for your supportive and collaborative work style, you are appreciated as a team player and a trusted partner.

How you will contribute

  1. Implement and develop HSE plans and internal standards to identify and reduce work environment and environmental risks.
  2. Ensure compliance with external and internal HSE requirements.
  3. Support and guide managers and employees in HSE related matters.
  4. Support communication with authorities within the HSE area.
  5. Develop and implement trainings to strengthen HSE awareness in the workplace.
  6. Track and analyze HSE KPIs and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Government contacts and work with permits, inspections and reporting.
  8. Work closely with production.

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  1. Degree in work environment, engineering or equivalent work experience.
  2. Fluent in Norwegian and English.
  3. Strong communication skills, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Food, pharmaceutical or other industry and safety culture background.
  5. Experience in working with safety culture and cultural changes.
  6. Technical knowledge in for example machine safety, combustible dust, ammonia systems and environmental technology.
