Purpose

The Delivery Manager is responsible for:

  1. Overseeing study execution to ensure successful study delivery and client satisfaction;
  2. Driving new business across all Markets and Practices for Genesis in the Nordics;
  3. Interfacing with global colleagues to share knowledge and optimise the local service offering;
  4. Growing and developing the local Norway team to further enhance the local presence;
  5. Increasing brand awareness by representing Genesis at events, conferences and client meetings;

As such the Delivery Manager has both Win-it and Do-it responsibility across Norway and the Nordics. This is both an external facing role that builds a trusted relationship with Clients and an internal facing role that develops strong teams and oversees excellence in execution.

Reporting Line: Head of Country

Directly Supervises: Study managers and technical team members.

Typical Profile
  1. Experience with Client interfaces and understanding of energy markets;
  2. Excellent networking, negotiation, and influencing skills;
  3. Open communication style with the ability to quickly develop trusting client relationships;
  4. Previous experience of the commercial aspects of consulting;
  5. "Seeing the bigger picture" to give tenders and study deliverables an "edge";
  6. Experience in promoting technical consulting offerings;
  7. Proactive, self-starter motivated towards achieving pre-agreed targets and objectives;

Main Accountabilities
  1. Responsible for meeting Order Intake and revenue KPI for project portfolio;
  2. Establish line of sight of, and develop the opportunity pipeline through client engagement;
  3. Support business development to grow and diversify market footprint and client base;
  4. Build Client relationships and understanding of client drivers / challenges;
  5. Manage and sponsor studies/projects/tenders, supporting study managers and technical team in their delivery to meet business objectives and client satisfaction;
  6. Provide leadership to local team of Study Managers and technical staff, ensuring strong engagement and motivation of the team;
  7. Collaborate closely with P&C teams to ensure a proactive approach to development and retention of talent;
  8. Support global collaboration to ensure continuous improvement and simplification of processes and tools, with a focus on digitalization;
  9. Ensure the team has the necessary competencies to execute projects and grow our business.
