About the job:

We are looking for a highly motivated Programmatic Traffic Quality Analyst with experience in Ad Traffic Quality Management to join our talented Opera Adtech team.

As a Programmatic Traffic Quality Analyst, you will report directly to the Adtech Vice President and work closely with the Account Management, Engineering, and Sales teams. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the quality of both demand and supply across our ad platform, with a strong focus on fraud prevention, anomaly detection, and bid stream efficiency. In this role you will collaborate closely with our operations, data, and engineering teams to enforce quality standards, manage risk, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and analyze bid streams to detect IVT, ad fraud, and policy violations, ensuring both demand and supply comply with industry standards (e.g., IAB, TAG) and internal guidelines.
  2. Leverage data analytics and reporting to uncover traffic quality issues, generate actionable insights, and recommend strategies to improve bid efficiency and partner performance.
  3. Evaluate publisher inventory and demand sources, identifying suspicious patterns or low-quality traffic to maintain a high standard of platform integrity.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with account management, engineering, product, and operations teams to implement quality improvements and educate partners on best practices.
  5. Troubleshoot technical issues with the programmatic and engineering teams, ensuring optimal support and continuous improvement in traffic quality and platform efficiency.

Job Requirements:

  1. 5+ years in AdTech in ad operations or quality assurance roles focused on fraud prevention. Experience with DSPs, SSPs, or Ad Networks is highly preferred.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and make data-driven recommendations.
  3. Solid knowledge of open auction bid streams, OpenRTB protocols, and fraud detection tools (e.g., MOAT, IAS, HUMAN, DoubleVerify).
  4. Familiarity with IVT detection, brand safety, and compliance frameworks (e.g., TAG, IAB, MRC).
  5. Experience with SQL and data visualization tools is a plus.

An Ideal Candidate's Profile:

  1. Ability to communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  2. Proficiency in Google Suite, Excel (including pivot tables, charts), and MS Office.
  3. Fluent in English with excellent communication, project management, and presentation skills.
  4. Expertise in oRTB, Header Bidding, SSPs, DSPs, ad exchanges, and ad servers.
  5. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong time management and prioritization skills.

What's on Offer:

  • Flat organizational structure with short decision-making processes that boost your creativity and drive.
  • A team of experienced and supportive individuals that fosters a friendly work atmosphere.
