Oslo, Oslo County, Norway Optioincentives Full time

About Optio
Established in 2018, Optio Incentives combines software and deep expertise to manage equity compensation plans for companies of all sizes. Today, the company manages over 1,000 equity programs worldwide for private and publicly listed clients. Optio simplifies complexities associated with employee incentive programs, enabling companies to stay compliant, manage equity, report costs effectively, and maximize the programs benefits.

The role
As a Product Designer at Optio, you will work in a tech-focused company, alongside other skilled people. You will have the opportunity to build processes from scratch, and work closely with our product and engineering teams. At Optio, we are driven and ambitious, but we always make sure to celebrate every new milestone together as a team, and we have fun along the way. We are now looking for more talented Product Designers to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop intuitive, visually appealing, and conversion-focused designs for our product
  • Leverage user research, A/B testing, analytics, and feedback from internal/external stakeholders to solve problems for our customers
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to gather insights and validate designs
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure the feasibility and cost implementation of different solutions
  • Maintain, improve and use the design system, ensuring a unified approach across the product
  • Create wireframes, mockups, user journey maps and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively that address real user challenges and align business objectives
  • Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and surveys (both internally and externally) to gather insights to understand the viability of ideas
  • Ensure accessibility, scalability and consistency in design according to Optio's guidelines
  • Stay updated on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team

This role presents a unique opportunity to design and build innovative solutions from scratch, and make a significant impact on our technical and business strategies. You'll enjoy autonomy and ownership in your work, and be part of a team that values diversity, inclusivity, and creativity. Our dynamic and flexible work environment is designed to support and encourage you to excel and thrive in a culture that fosters innovation and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment
  • Strong portfolio showcasing visual design and the journey from problem to solution
  • Ability to balance speed and value in your work
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative user research and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design ideas and user journeys clearly
  • High proficiency in English
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for solving complex problems through design
  • Team player attitude and open mindset to give and receive feedback

It would be great (but not necessarily) to have a basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS) to bridge the gap between design and development.

Our unique company culture underpins our exceptional customer service — just ask our clients At Optio, we value teamwork, professional excellence, and personal accountability. Leveraging state-of-the-art collaboration tools, we create a technology-driven work environment that supports both on-site and remote roles, tailored to suit the needs of our employees. If you're passionate about your work, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and are eager to join a team of outstanding professionals, Optio might be the perfect place for you

If this resonates with you, we'd love to connect and explore how your long-term goals align with ours. Start by submitting your resume so we can begin getting to know each other
