Norwegian Medical Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Norwegian medical professional to participate in simulated Doctor-Patient conversations as part of our project to fine-tune speech recognition technology for the Norwegian language in the medical field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately pronouncing medical terminology and collaborating with an actor playing the patient. This project aims to develop and enhance the accuracy of a cutting-edge speech recognition system for medical use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and perform scripted medical conversations in Norwegian with an actor acting as the patient.
  • Ensure all medical terminology is pronounced correctly and clearly for optimal audio quality.
  • Collaborate with the project team to maintain high standards of recording and ensure the data meets the project requirements.
  • Participate in recording sessions scheduled remotely or at designated locations, if necessary.

Requirements:

  • A medical degree or relevant qualification in the healthcare field (e.g., doctor, nurse, or other medical professionals).
  • Native-level proficiency in Norwegian.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and its proper pronunciation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to perform scripted conversations naturally.
  • Experience in audio recordings or voice work is a plus but not required.
