PhD Research Fellow in RNA Targeting with Small Molecules

We are seeking highly motivated and talented PhD researchers to join our interdisciplinary team in the TargetRNA doctoral training network. The network brings together expertise and methods from molecular biology, structural biology, biophysics, computational chemistry, synthetic and medicinal chemistry, and microbiology to discover new small molecule RNA ligands for selected targets and to characterize the effects of these RNA ligands on microbes and the microbiome.
About the ProjectThe TargetRNA doctoral training network aims to train the next generation of scientists with an interdisciplinary mind and skill set who are keen and able to push RNA-targeted drug discovery forward. The network will deliver a cohort of scientists equipped with cutting-edge interdisciplinary skills in the discovery and characterization of RNA ligands and the translation of these discoveries into innovations.
