As a Firmware Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing embedded firmware for AutoStore's innovative systems.

About the Job

This role requires collaboration with multiple teams, including product owners, R&D teams, and other departments to enhance existing technologies and develop cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing firmware for real-time embedded robotics systems
  • Troubleshooting and testing embedded systems for optimal performance
  • Collaborating with electronics and hardware teams for seamless integration between hardware and software
  • Participating in cross-disciplinary R&D projects for system improvement and new product development

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Master's degree in relevant field, such as Electronics, Mechatronics, or Embedded Systems
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python, as well as experience with Git
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English language (Norwegian is an asset)
