Position Overview

OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University is seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor in Finance to join our dynamic research group. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of our finance programs and advance our research in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and supervise students at the Bachelor, Master, and PhD levels
  • Conduct high-quality academic research and publish in recognized international journals
  • Contribute to the development of our finance programs and research group
  • Participate in academic-administrative tasks and contribute to the university's overall mission
Qualification Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in finance, a PhD in finance or a related field, and a proven track record of research and teaching experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong publication record, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Applicants must have a strong command of English and Norwegian or another Scandinavian language. We offer Norwegian language courses to employees who do not have adequate proficiency.
