As a Senior Hydrogen Safety Researcher, you will be part of our Low Carbon Technology group, which focuses on building knowledge around hydrogen value chains from production to end-use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis on hydrogen safety and risk assessment
  • Develop and implement novel approaches for risk assessments
  • Support the digital development of DNV's risk assessment services
  • Engage with clients to understand industry needs and prototype solutions
  • Build international networks and collaborate with top academic personnel
  • Participate in public-funded research projects
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemical, Numerical, Mechanical, Process Engineering, or related discipline)
  • 5-10 years of experience from industry or academia
  • Knowledge and experience within Technical Safety and/or Various risk analysis techniques
  • Digital skills and interest in applying these skills to enhance value and efficiency of services
  • Knowledge of the Energy business and/or green technologies (Hydrogen, synthetic fuels, carbon capture and storage,...)
