We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at TN Norway. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects that shape the future of telecommunications.

As a Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research within the organization's value creation programs, collaborating with researchers, employees, academics and industry partners/customers, and publishing research papers and attending conferences to share and learn.

Requirements:

  • A Ph.D. or similar research experience in Computer Science or equivalent, preferably with a specialization in Machine Learning and 3-7 years of relevant experience after the Ph.D.
  • Familiarity with the workflow and iterative processes of building effective machine learning systems.
  • Experience with open-source Machine Learning/Deep Learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras) is a plus.
  • Comfortable with the mathematics of Machine Learning - ability to tweak machine learning algorithms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • A positive attitude, self-driven, and open-minded.
  • A passion to influence through research.
  • Enjoy presenting complex topics to top management and willing to invest time to become a better speaker and communicator.
  • An interest in the Telecom industry.
  • Broad understanding of computer systems and computer networks, especially at the intersection between IT and telecommunication networking.
  • A team player who puts the team first and respects different personalities and points of view.
