At Nexans USA Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled International Tax Specialist to join our dynamic operations team. This role involves ensuring the company's compliance with payroll tax and social security reporting for employees posted on assignments related to installation contracts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and performing local reporting processes in cooperation with local service providers. Additionally, they will support projects and operations in Norway and abroad with accounting and compliance tasks, as well as extensive communication within the company and with external consultants and service providers.

This role requires the ability to provide clear and accurate information to employees regarding personal tax reporting requirements from foreign assignments. The ideal candidate will also ensure accurate and timely filing of foreign shadow payroll and payment of foreign personal income tax deductions.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with employees to obtain necessary signatures for filing foreign tax returns, including Power of Attorney. The candidate will also prepare monthly reports of employee salaries earned while on foreign assignments, ensure employees on foreign assignments have the corresponding NAV certificate for Norwegian Social Security system membership, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure employees have the correct working visa when posted on foreign assignments.

To succeed in this role, the candidate must have excellent professional language skills in both Norwegian and English, as well as knowledge of SAP ERP and finance tools. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Payroll, HR, Tax, or a similar field is required, along with 3+ years of relevant experience and the ability to deliver on time.
