Role Description
As a Business Development Manager at Airswift, you will work closely with the Vice President - Sales, Recruitment team, and Country Managers to drive new business opportunities across Process, Infrastructure, and Energy markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a robust new business strategy and action plan targeting new clients and projects.
- Identify new sales leads and make relevant introductions to new clients and opportunities.
- Make cold calls as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Maintain and leverage your professional network to grow potential clients.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Track major project opportunities and capital development projects in-region.
- Negotiate and agree terms within regional guidelines, focusing on favorable margins and payment terms.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Prior experience working in a competitive sales environment, preferably in process, infrastructure, and energy markets.
- Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
- Ability to balance commercial and risk management approaches.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Proven track record of excelling in new sales environments.
- Comfortable working with financial information.
- Demonstrable track record of self-initiated business development success.
