Our company, reMarkable, is seeking a skilled Product Development Project Manager to join our team in Oslo, Norway. This role will be responsible for managing products and processes, working globally, and traveling to ensure the successful launch of new products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive product development projects from early phases to mass production, ensuring successful products by meeting cost, quality, design, and availability.
  • Utilize Engineering and Operations experience to secure manufacturability, resiliency, and responsiveness in our supply chain for new products.
  • Work towards Continuous Improvement by developing and implementing leading practices and processes for New Product Development projects.

This position requires strong leadership skills, experience in managing people, projects, and processes within Manufacturing/Operations and/or Design/Engineering, as well as familiarity with key production processes like injection molding, extrusion, die casting, sheet metal enclosures, SMT.

Requirements:
  • Higher education in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or similar technical subjects.
  • Experience in Design for Assembly/Manufacture/Repair/Refurbish & Industrialization of mass manufacturing products.
  • The ability to work in technical details while maintaining a broader outlook.
  • Capable of complex task prioritization to ensure focus on critical tasks while progressing on less critical ones.
  • Curious and open to learning, with a desire for a management career trajectory.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
