About the Nordic PMO Team:
The Senior Program Manager role is integral to our newly formed Nordic Program Management Office. This team is responsible for executing the most significant and intricate projects within Ascom Nordics. These initiatives are characterized by their substantial influence on clinical workflows, extensive system integrations, and the implementation of Medical Devices, all within complex project landscapes. Besides managing customer projects, the Program Manager will also engage in the redesign and ongoing enhancement of project delivery and customer support processes. Reporting to the Nordic PMO Manager, you will play a crucial role in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver large-scale projects successfully, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness while focusing on customer benefits.
- Develop and implement standards, processes, tools, and skills for managing projects and project portfolios.
- Proactively manage risks and lead a team of project managers to uphold Ascom's standards.
- Ensure compliance with the Ascom project delivery process, managing scope changes effectively.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure project managers possess a thorough understanding of Ascom processes and tools.
- Serve as a liaison to customers and colleagues, adhering to robust issue and risk management protocols.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and conduct post-project evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Technology.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading complex ICT projects, with at least 8 years in IT, telecommunications, or healthcare.
- Project Management certification is a plus.
- Experience in process development and continuous improvement methodologies.
Desired Skills:
- Exceptional project and program management capabilities, particularly with high-value contracts.
- Strong leadership, planning, organizational, and implementation skills.
- Experience in facilitating workshops and organizing large meetings.
- Outstanding interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Customer-focused with proficiency in English and Norwegian (both oral and written).
- Understanding of Danish and Swedish is advantageous.
- Previous experience with MDR certified products and agile project management is beneficial.
- Expertise in project portfolio reporting and management.
