The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to join their dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee the successful delivery of critical IT projects and initiatives.

As Programme Manager, you will take charge of planning, implementing, and monitoring the progress of strategic IT projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Your leadership and strategic acumen will be pivotal in driving project success and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of IT projects, collaborating with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, motivating members to foster innovation and collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Conduct project evaluations and assessments to drive continuous improvement and uphold quality standards.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning within the project team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT, with at least 10 years in a senior role overseeing complex IT projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in telecommunications or managed services industry is advantageous.
