Euronext is experiencing significant expansion and is in search of a Power Market Trading Consultant to oversee the European day-ahead market for electricity trading.

The primary role of the Trading Consultant involves enhancing the daily operations of the power market while also contributing to the technological advancements of the market platform and its associated products and services.

You will be part of a dynamic and highly motivated international team dedicated to further developing the most liquid and rapidly growing power markets in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily and weekend operational activities for the day-ahead power market across Europe.
  • Ensure ongoing enhancement of business processes to meet client expectations and maintain robust operations.
  • Provide technical support for trading and market coupling systems, including the testing of relevant operational and customer-facing platforms.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Euronext's trading platforms and product offerings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service during routine operations.
  • Engage in Euronext's development initiatives across the European power markets.
  • Participate in the 24/7 rotational duty arrangements related to the operations of the European power market.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Higher education in IT, engineering, or energy-related fields.
  • Experience with IT tools for monitoring, efficiency, and support purposes.
  • Understanding of the power market is beneficial but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Experience with complex IT infrastructures.
  • Ability to leverage technology to enhance business processes and improve service quality for customers.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages.
