About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technology expert to join our Shared Technology Competency Center. As a key member of our Advisory Unit, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive solution design, architecture, and implementation across the organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining and supporting the IT, AI, and cloud architecture and projects in Telenor Business Areas, enabling AI and cloud native technologies and fully leveraging external capabilities in the ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and support the development of IT, AI, and cloud architecture and projects in Telenor Business Areas to maximize impact across the organization.
  • Provide technology expertise and strategic guidance to various Business Areas within Telenor on IT, design, and architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess their future technology needs, define project scopes, and develop future-proof and efficient solutions that align with business goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices related to tech telco and make recommendations for their adoption into existing systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Minimum four years of experience within the technology industry or telecommunications, with experience in technology design, implementation, and services.
  • Learning mindset to understand the development in the technology landscape, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Good understanding of IT security principles and best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
