The Role

We're seeking a skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering top-notch service to our customers. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our medical instruments run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and perform planned maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and perform hardware and software upgrades.
  • Assist with instrument installations and deinstallations.
  • Provide phone support to customers and first-line service to Abbott Ambassadors.
  • Identify customer needs, propose solutions, and resolve problems.
  • Provide service reports and documentation to the customer after service.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. A degree in medical, electrical, mechanical, or medical technology is preferred.
  • Experience in establishing a "Best in Class" Customer Support with a focus on continuous improvement and KPIs.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and innovative skills.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
  • Results-oriented with a strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to assimilate technical information and drive resolution of issues.
  • Proficiency in using analytical tools and software.

  • Fluency in Norwegian and English.
