Chief Technology Officer for AI-Driven AML Solutions

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Technology Officer to lead our growing engineering team and drive the development of innovative AI-powered automation solutions for anti-money laundering (AML).
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience in scaling teams and processes. You will work closely with our CTO and Co-founder to shape our technical strategy, empower a high-performing team, and ensure we deliver industry-leading solutions.
About the Role:- Team Leadership and Growth: Lead an organization of 20+ engineers, working with tech leads to manage, mentor, and scale the team while maintaining a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Engineering Excellence: Establish and enforce best practices, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure systems are delivered consistently.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CTO to set technical direction, prioritize engineering efforts, and align them with company goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, design, sales, and other departments to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
- Process Optimization: Develop and refine engineering workflows to improve velocity and ensure good team collaboration.
- Hiring and Onboarding: Take an active role in recruiting top talent and ensuring they have the tools and support to thrive.
- Driving Innovation: Stay ahead of technology trends to position Strise as a leader in AML and AI.
- Proven Leadership in Scaling Engineering: 5+ years leading and growing teams, systems, and processes in fast-paced SaaS, fintech, or AI-driven environments.
- Technical Expertise: Solid knowledge of modern backend systems, cloud platforms (preferably GCP), and scalable architectures.
- Strategic Thinking with Hands-on Ability: Capable of both big-picture planning and diving into technical challenges when necessary.
- Strong Leadership Skills: An empowering leader who fosters trust, motivates teams, and ensures accountability.
- Collaboration and Communication: Exceptional ability to unite cross-functional teams and drive effective delivery.
- Passion for AI: A genuine interest in AI's potential and enthusiasm for integrating AI technologies to solve complex problems and enhance product capabilities.
- A competitive salary of $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience.
