As a Strategic Intelligence Collection Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic situational awareness, developing scenario documents, generating exercise material, and delivering intelligence-related information to support the training audience's achievement of training objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Situational Awareness: Provide robust overall strategic situational awareness to support the training audience's decision-making process.
  2. Scenario Development: Assist in developing strategic and operational level scenario documents tailored to the training audience and training objectives, ensuring a realistic and challenging problem set.
  3. Content Generation: Generate exercise material, including scenario intelligence-related information, to support the training audience's achievement of training objectives.
  4. Intelligence Delivery: Support the training audience's achievement of training objectives through tailored and accurate delivery of scenario intelligence-related information.
  5. Documentation Update: Be prepared to update and amend exercise and scenario documentation during the course of the exercise.
  6. Meeting Support: Produce agendas, written speaking notes, and minutes of meetings in support of scenario building and coordination.
  7. Feedback Provision: Monitor training audience activity and provide timely feedback to JWC EXCON staff.
  8. Doctrine Representation: Ensure representation of the latest adversary doctrine/TTPs in area of intelligence subject matter expertise.
  9. Scenario Representation: Act as the focal point for the training audience for intelligence-related matters during exercise preparation and execution.
  10. Coordination: Coordinate intelligence operational matters within JWC SCENARIO team and JWC EXCON INTEL.

Technical Requirements:

  1. Experience:
  2. Demonstrated 3 years' experience in the last 10 years working in a National or NATO Strategic or Operational level Command as an Intelligence Analyst.
  3. Demonstrated 3 years' experience in the last 10 years operational knowledge of Intelligence, either as a Military Officer or as a civilian.
  4. Courses:
  5. NATO Intelligence Course or National equivalent.
  6. NATO IRM & CM Course or National equivalent.
  7. NATO Intelligence Warning System (NIWS) Course or demonstrated working knowledge and experience within the last 5 years.
  8. Knowledge:
  9. Knowledge of NATO Air/Maritime/Ground/Space Sensor capabilities.
  10. Understanding of the NATO Targeting Process and NATO Comprehensive Understanding of the Operating Environment (CUOE) Process.
  11. Familiarity with the NATO Intelligence Warning System (NIWS).
  12. Other:
  13. Demonstrated participation in NATO and/or international strategic planning exercises and operations as intelligence SME in the last 10 years.
  14. Experience in briefing senior leaders at strategic/operational level in a National or Multinational environment.
  15. Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  16. Regular user of functional systems like INTEL-FS, TOPFAS, and BICES.
  17. Current NATO Secret Security Clearance.
  18. Proficiency in English as defined by STANAG 6001 (SLP 3333).
