At BYD Europe, we are committed to building a zero-emission future that reconnects humanity with nature. As the Marketing Manager of our DENZA brand, you will play a critical role in driving sales in the Local market and building the brand from 0-1.

The Key responsibilities will be:

  • Marketing Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and execute regional marketing strategies and annual plans for the brand, aligning with business objectives and Global Marketing Strategic Guidelines.
  • Brand Promotion and Awareness
    • Collaboratively work with the European PR and Event team, for all marketing activities execution in the region such as National Events, advertising, digital campaigns... to enhance the brand awareness and influence.
  • Public Relations
    • Maintain a good relationship with press, media, agencies, social influencer in relation with the PR Manager to ensure visibility and reputation of the brand and product stories and handle public relations issues promptly.
  • Dealer Marketing Management
    • Supervise Dealer Marketing Plans and executions and provide dealers with marketing support and guidance.
  • Market Research and Analysis
    • Conduct in-depth market research on the region and monitor competitor activities. Conduct post event analysis to understand effectiveness of action and feed this information into the marketing plan process.
  • Budget Management
    • Take responsibility of steering marketing budget, ensure the rational use of the marketing funds and optimize the ROI.
  • Brand Ambassador
    • Be the brand Ambassador of the region within industry and key media.
  • Localization and Compliance Management
    • Take responsibility for ensuring dealer websites, signage and any marketing materials are localized, up to date, and in compliance with BYD CI policy.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Country Manager and senior management to support the company's growth objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A University Degree in Marketing, Sales or commercial disciplines.
  • Solid Experience in Automotive industry or Branded Retail Products.
  • 8+ years of experience in roles related to Marketing management in Automotive business.
  • Excellent Digital skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
  • Resilient and open-minded.
  • Results-oriented. Ability to work to deadlines, hands-on approach, motivated to get results.
  • Effective and eloquent communicator in English & Norwegian language is mandatory (Other European languages and/or Mandarin Chinese would be a plus).
