About the Role

Job Description

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and department heads. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment will also be essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and amenities to our guests.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest feedback and incident reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Minimum one year experience in a customer contact position within the hotel field or related industry.
  2. Minimum one year cash handling experience, and an understanding of US currency and exchange rates required.
  3. Proven customer service skills to interact appropriately with guests in a considerate, professional and positive manner by showing concern and listening actively.
  4. Ability to communicate tactfully with guests, department heads and shipboard employees to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
  5. Ability to operate basic office equipment, including telephones, computers and copy machines.
  6. Completion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred.
