Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the country's financial reporting (internal and external) and tax reporting (internal and external).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial summaries for the parent company.
  • Ensure accurate and timely internal reporting.
  • Prepare and file statutory accounts on time.
  • Prepare tax returns and monitor tax impacts.
  • Manage cash on a daily basis.
  • Oversee GFSS budgets and allocations.
  • Deliver quarterly statistical reporting.
Key Accountabilities
  • Guarantee timely delivery of internal reporting packages.
  • Ensure financial statements are prepared and filed on time.
  • Guarantee tax returns are filed and filed on time.
  • Ensure statistical reporting is done on time.
  • Guarantee the GFSS budget is prepared on time.
  • Guarantee the department's budget.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting delivered on time with no fines.
  • Financial statements prepared and filed on time with no fines.
  • Tax returns prepared and delivered on time with no fines.
  • Statistical reporting done on time with no fines.
  • Guarantee GFSS budget done on time.
  • Guarantee the GFSS budget is done on time.
Requirements
  • College degree + 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting rules.
  • Knowledge of accounting system.
  • Training for a professional accounting qualification encouraged.
  • Knowledge of tax rules and preparation of tax returns.
  • Willingness to learn Norwegian.
Preferred
  • Fluent in Norwegian.
  • Currently based in Norway.
