Job Summary

This is a key leadership role that oversees the country's financial reporting (internal and external) and tax reporting (internal and external). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, tax returns, and internal reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and file financial summaries, statutory accounts, and tax returns in a timely manner.
  2. Internal Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely internal reporting, including quarterly statistical reporting.
  3. Cash Management: Manage cash on a daily basis, including GFSS budgets and allocations.
  4. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, and monitor tax impacts.
Key Accountabilities
  1. Deliver Internal Reporting Packages: Guarantee timely delivery of internal reporting packages.
  2. Financial Statements: Guarantee financial statements are prepared and filed on time.
  3. Tax Returns: Guarantee tax returns are filed on time.
  4. Statistical Reporting: Guarantee statistical reporting is done on time.
  5. Budget Management: Guarantee the GFSS budget is prepared on time.
Key Performance Indicators
  1. Monthly and Quarterly Reporting: Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting on time, with no fines.
  2. Financial Statements: Prepare and file financial statements on time, with no fines.
  3. Tax Returns: Prepare and deliver tax returns on time, with no fines.
  4. Statistical Reporting: Complete statistical reporting on time, with no fines.
  5. Budget Management: Guarantee the GFSS budget is prepared on time.
Requirements

Essential:

  1. College degree + 5 years of experience.
  2. Knowledge of accounting rules.
  3. Knowledge of accounting system.
  4. Training for a professional accounting qualification encouraged.
  5. Knowledge of tax rules and preparation of tax returns.
  6. Willingness to learn Norwegian.

Preferred:

  1. Fluent in Norwegian.
  2. Currently based in Norway.
