About the Role

The CBRE GWS IFM Industrie GmbH Data Center is seeking a skilled Senior Technician to support the daily electrical and mechanical maintenance and operation activities within the facility.

This is a key role within the company, and the ideal candidate will have completed vocational training or an apprenticeship with an electrical focus, preferably in data centers or critical environments.

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs, compliance with internal and external training programs, and installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the facility's electrical and mechanical systems are operating efficiently.
  • Complying with internal and external training programs to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills.
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, including modification of electrical wiring systems.
  • Tracking critical process services using a CMMS system and processing service orders according to service level agreements.
  • Ensuring the correct and effective functioning of the systems, identifying potential risks for the intended process or occupational safety.
  • Supporting and accompanying subcontractors in the execution of activities, taking into account customer agreements and CBRE security and risk reduction measures.
  • Daily tours and inspections to monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Completed vocational training or an apprenticeship with an electrical focus, preferably in data centers or critical environments.
  • Experience in handling refrigeration and air conditioning devices.
  • Knowledge of how to use a CMMS system and SPS/PLC systems.
  • Strong service orientation and ability to work in a team.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbally.
