About the Role
Sigma Energy & Marine is a leading provider of complex projects to the oil and gas industry, delivering solutions that shape the path towards a sustainable energy future. We are now seeking a talented Embedded Software Developer to join our global R&D team in Oslo/Kongsberg.
As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for the development of embedded HW and Firmware for use in Subsea Control System applications. Your tasks will include:
- Design, documentation, coding, testing, and maintenance of new components and legacy components.
- Developing products and software according to requirements and quality demands.
- Developing and maintaining automated test suites.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of our team, you will work on development in the All Electric Control System, contributing to the technology platforms for the electrification of Subsea Control Systems and enabling of renewable energy sources. Your responsibilities will include:
- System integration of components and products in collaboration with the system and SW departments.
- Development and qualification of manufacturing test systems at EMS suppliers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- An educational background in electronics/controls engineering.
- Experience in circuit design, simulation, and verification.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability in a multicultural environment.
