ESG Manager, Leading Private Equity Firm, Oslo

About Our Client

Our client is a rapidly expanding surfacing treatment services company in Europe, backed by a leading private equity firm with a strong focus on sustainability. The company is seeking an ESG Manager to support the development of its sustainability credentials and contribute to its growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company's ESG strategy and policies
  • Coordinate the implementation of ESG targets and ensure their effective monitoring and reporting
  • Prepare and implement plans for the implementation of policies and procedures
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs for employees on ESG policies and procedures
  • Liaise with various departments to operationalize the ESG strategy and ensure its effective implementation
  • Develop and update the ESG strategy annually, setting ambitious and specific long-term targets
  • Work strategically to maximize ESG impact and meet the company's sustainability ambitions
  • Manage data collection and analysis processes to inform ESG decision-making
  • Lead on regulatory and reporting requirements, collaborating with internal teams

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage large-scale implementation projects and multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Proactive and able to manage time effectively and efficiently
