Shift Clean Solutions Limited is a rapidly expanding company that specializes in designing and developing Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) primarily for the commercial marine industry. Our team has been actively involved in the industry since 2009 and has been responsible for numerous industry-firsts, including powering hybrid and fully electric ferries, and developing the first swappable marine battery. Our batteries are utilized in offshore supply vessels, global freight carriers, tugboats, passenger vessels, and zero-emission land-based grid energy projects.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Operations Team based in Oslo. The successful candidate will be accountable for the on-time and to-budget delivery of multiple concurrent ESS projects for customers. The Project Manager will oversee all activities related to project delivery, including project engineering, production & testing, logistics, and commissioning. The role will involve working with internal and external stakeholders and coordinating activities across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Engineering: Define project-specific technical requirements and coordinate with customer engineering and naval class societies.
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans and schedules using MS Project, track progress, and define risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate between internal and external stakeholders using MS Teams & Outlook.
  • Financial Management: Develop project budgets, track project costs, and report project margins using MS Excel.
  • Document Management: Maintain documentation and manage customer transmittals using MS Teams.

Reporting and Collaboration

The Project Manager will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with:

  • Internal: Engineering, Supply Chain, Service, and Finance.
  • External: Customers, Integrators, Class Societies.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in managing multiple engineering projects.
  • Ideal experience in power electronics and shipbuilding.
  • Structured and organized with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft Project (Waterfall Gantt and Agile methodologies).
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent English required. German language an advantage.
  • Higher education, e.g., bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Professional project management qualification, e.g., PMP certified.
