Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Comfort Hotel Karl Johan. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and responding to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Cleaning and maintaining hotel rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
  • Ensuring that public areas, including the lobby, corridors, and restrooms, are clean and well-maintained
  • Participating in deep cleaning and disinfection of hotel rooms and public areas
  • Assisting with laundry and linen services
  • Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the hotel management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time
