We are looking for a skilled PhD candidate to join our team at NTNU's Department of Electric Energy. As a researcher in our Power System Operation and Analyses (PSOA) group, you will contribute to the definition and vision of smart grid resilience. Your tasks will include developing and evaluating modern methods for power system operation and analysis, advancing the knowledge on modern electricity market developments, and developing a strategy to unlock available flexibility.

You will have the opportunity to pursue your academic training consisting of coursework corresponding to a minimum 30 ECTS, and contribute to publications in relevant journals and to popular science dissemination. We encourage international collaboration and offer opportunities for research stays at foreign educational institutions.

Your immediate Line Manager will be the Head of Department, and you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team.
