Role Overview

Telenor ASA is seeking a telecom strategy professional to drive value creation through technology and innovation. As Senior Expert Network Systems, you will be responsible for setting strategic directions and high-level architecture principles.

This role involves collaboration with different Telenor Business Areas and partners to execute business-led strategies. You will participate in selected project activities and work closely with the Vice President Technology Advisory in Shared Technology Competence Center.

The ideal candidate has expertise in telecom network architecture, API development, and management, as well as experience in modernizing traditional telecom infrastructure towards cloud-native architectures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define strategic directions and create Open Network architecture principles
  • Develop Open API strategy and architecture documents
  • Coordinate across Business Areas and align Open network strategy and architecture status
  • Define strategy for Open Network, Open API, and IT systems integration
Requirements
  • Expertise in telecom network architecture and API development
  • Experience in modernizing traditional telecom infrastructure
  • Familiarity with network automation and orchestration
  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders
