As a Mechanic III / Site Lead, you will be responsible for the performance and leadership of the maintenance operation of C-12 aircraft at the site.

  • You will supervise employees and interface with government representatives.
  • You will direct, schedule, and monitor site operations, site personnel, and work efforts.
  • You must be able to work during the day shift, swing shift, night shift, and/or weekend shift as required.
  • You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and aircraft modifications.
  • You will perform other duties related to the occupational field as assigned to include TDY and travel.
  • You will annotate maintenance actions in aircraft records/forms and complete associated Management Information System entries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • You will ensure safety and quality compliance at the site.
  • You will manage and plan logistics and resources at the site.
  • You will accomplish inspections including, but not limited to preflight, thru-flight, basic post-flight, and phase inspections.
  • You will perform operational checks of all aircraft systems and maintain aircraft appearance and cleanliness.
  • You will perform all tasks associated with ground movement of aircraft including operating all associated ground support equipment and using hand tools, special tools, and fixtures applicable to aircraft.

Qualifications

  • You must have a minimum of 5 years of recent hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
  • You must have a minimum of 3 years maintaining King Air/1900 Airliner series aircraft.
  • You must have a minimum of at least one year experience as a site lead.
  • You must possess an FAA A&P certificate.
  • You must have a high school diploma or an equivalent.
  • You must be able to read, write, and speak clearly and concisely in English.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance and Passport.
  • You must be able to obtain clearance to assigned location including medical clearance and visa.
  • You must have strong leadership and communication skills.
  • You must have a working knowledge of aircraft hand tools, special tools, and test equipment.
  • You must have a working knowledge of aircraft safety requirements and know how to operate portable firefighting equipment.
  • You must have the ability to read, interpret, and comprehend schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and technical publications.
  • Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
  • You must be able to obtain a flight line driver's license.
