Technical Business Development / Sales Manager

NOV Process Systems is seeking an experienced professional to drive the growth of our Brownfield business in Norway. Our team assists clients in maximizing the efficiency of their existing equipment through strategic partnerships, operational optimization, and knowledge-driven process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a market strategy for the Norwegian brownfield market, ensuring competitive execution models.
  • Identify and develop brownfield opportunities from lead to proposal stage, managing the sales pipeline to ensure accurate revenue forecasting.
  • Maximize revenue potential on existing and new accounts, delivering on sales targets.
  • Communicate sales activities internally, including customer visits, calls, lead follow-ups, and quotation generation.
  • Understand the competitive landscape in the Norwegian brownfield market and maintain an overview of competitors.
  • Lead strategy meetings and support decision-making processes, managing Terms & Conditions negotiations with the support of contract and legal teams.
  • Participate in and integrate with the global NOV Brownfield team to expand our footprint, improve performance, enhance safety, and increase digital offerings.
  • Foster and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, staying informed about market trends and emerging opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, E&I, Process, or Automation Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the oil and gas industry in the North Sea region.
  • Notable experience in companies manufacturing or using similar equipment on a day-to-day basis.
  • Established network within the oil and gas industry and the ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Understanding of legal terms and competencies.
  • Professional writing skills in English.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of the competitive landscape in the oil and gas sector.
  • Troubleshooting experience in oil and gas production sites.
