{"h1": "PhD Research Fellow in Neuroscience", "p": "We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD Research Fellow to join our team at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team, performing data analyses of two-photon microscopy and electrophysiology data of awake and naturally sleeping mice. The candidate will use and develop our in-house developed software.

The fellowship period is 3 years devoted to research. The research fellow must take part in the Faculty's approved PhD program and is expected to complete the project within the set fellowship period. The main purpose of the fellowship is research training leading to the successful completion of a PhD degree.

The applicant must, in collaboration with her/his supervisor, within 3 months after employment, have worked out a complete project description to be attached to the application for admission to the Doctoral degree:

### Qualification Requirements

* A medical degree or master's degree (120 ECTS) or an equivalent qualification in neuroscience, physics, mathematics or similar, minimum grade B (ECTS grading scale) or equivalent. The Master's degree must include a thesis of at least 30 ECTS.
* Documented experience with advanced data analysis.
* Advanced programming skills in MATLAB, or experience with similar programming language with the ability to start using MATLAB with little transition.
* Documented experience in neuroscience.
* Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
